Salisbury, United Kingdom, December 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Steelhenge Consulting Ltd is delighted to announce that the first exhibition appearance made at the annual BCM World Conference and Exhibition recently held in London was a great success for the leading business continuity and crisis management consultancy. The Steelhenge exhibition stand attracted business representatives from around the world looking for excellence in business continuity planning, training and exercising. "We were very pleased with the response to our exhibition stand" commented Isobel Nicholas, Director of Marketing and Communications for Steelhenge. "As this was the first BCM World Conference and Exhibition event organised by the Business Continuity Institute, we didn't know how many would attend, especially in the current economic environment. However, the event was a great success and many good connections were made over the two-day period. There was a lot of interest in all our business continuity and crisis management services and particularly, in crisis leadership and crisis communications."

Over five hundred delegates and exhibition visitors attended the event from countries all over the world, including Nigeria, United Arab Emirates, Japan, Norway, USA, Portugal, Netherlands and South Africa. When asked to describe the main benefits of exhibiting, Isobel replied; "Amongst the people who visited our stand were seasoned business continuity practitioners and senior staff from a very wide variety of public and private sectors around the world. They were looking for high calibre specialist business continuity and crisis management consultancy services to support them in their roles. We also met a number of contacts interested in support for business continuity training and crisis exercising. Running an effective crisis simulation is complex and resource intensive," Isobel explained. "It requires a complex skill set to run a really good exercise and many organisations don't have those resources internally. The event has certainly led to many interesting opportunities and excellent connections with international practitioners and companies, and we are looking forward to what 2010 will bring."
