New Business Development Executive for Exo2

Livingston, United Kingdom, July 19, 2005 --(PR.com)-- Exo2, the UK’s leading developer of smart clothing, personal heating systems and high-tech textiles, has appointed Carmela D’Angelo as business development executive.

Carmela has several years’ experience in the textile and fashion sector having successfully run her own internet-based designer fashion business. She was previously employed as a sales and marketing liaison officer with leading textile manufacturers Dawson International, one of the world’s premier producers of cashmere. Here she was responsible for providing marketing support for customers across Europe.

At EXO2 Carmela will help promote the sales and marketing of the company’s unique range of heat-conducting materials including Fabroc and Heatweave which are employed in the latest generation of “smart” clothing and textiles. The technology has already been commercially employed by some of the leading outdoor clothing suppliers – the Berghaus “Heatcell” Gilet, the Typhoon “Icebreaker” vest for wearing under dry suits and a heated lining for the Thermoform ski boot.

Carmela has a Masters Degree in Arts from the Universita’ di Bologna in her native Italy, and a further Masters Degree in Web Communications from the Cattolica University in Milan.
