Ambius Switches to Learn.com to Streamline Compliance Training and Host a Social Learning Environment for Global Colleagues

Learn.com®, the knowledge platform company, announced today that Ambius, the world’s largest provider of plants and ambient products, has switched to the company’s Learning Management System (LMS) from a competing product to manage employee development, certification training and a social learning environment for tracked collaboration.

Sunrise, FL, January 29, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Using Learn.com, Ambius will enhance their Career Advantage Program for colleagues focusing on horticultural and sales expertise, and implement the Sales Advantage Program that includes custom development plans for on-demand access to centralized training; and a social networking location for Team Members to share their experiences through blogs and forums. Utilizing these forums, Ambius hopes to capture the expertise of the top performers and use it to help those who are underperforming.

Learn.com will enable Ambius to synchronize with European partners who are currently utilizing 100% instructor lead training (ILT). Learn.com will convert a majority of the ILT curriculum into web based training, saving the company approximately $8,000 per course. The Ambius three year “Sales Advantage” strategy plan, forecasts a reduction in turnover which is currently at 30%, an increase the total number of worldwide sales professionals, and reduced costs while improving sales results by a minimum of $2 million using Learn.com.
