One Burglar, Two Trespassers Caught by Sonitrol Pacific Audio

Poulsbo, WA, February 05, 2010 --(PR.com)-- A Sonitrol Pacific audio security system, triggered by a suspected school burglar, led to the arrest of the burglar and two trespassers smoking pot on school grounds January 30.

Operator Minta Christopherson received the audio sensor activation from the Washington school and heard sounds of movement. She dispatched police and continued to monitor live security audio.

Officers arrived on campus and found two people drinking alcohol and smoking pot. Both were taken into custody.

Police updated Christopherson on the arrest, but she let them know she still heard someone inside one of the school’s portable classrooms. Officers entered the portable and located and arrested one person hiding in the bathroom. According to police, the suspect got in through an unlocked window.

The two outside the school were not with the one who broke into the school, they just happened to be there at the same time.
