Avanta is Awarded Best Companies Accreditation

The Best Companies 2010 two star accreditation status has been awarded to serviced office group, Avanta, in acknowledgment of excellence in the workplace.

London, United Kingdom, February 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Best Companies established the accreditation award scheme based on staff feedback and looks at employee engagement as an integral part of a company’s success and growth. The accreditation scheme follows a Michelin star style system with companies awarded one star for first class, two stars for outstanding and three stars for extraordinary performance.

A record 1,086 organisations from the private and public sectors applied for Best Companies Accreditation this year, showing how high a priority staff engagement is. However, only 410 became accredited ‘star status’ organisations, broken down as 50 three star, 140 two star and 220 one star.

“We would like to congratulate Avanta on its outstanding achievement,” comments Jonathan Austin, founder and CEO of Best Companies. “An engaged workforce is essential as organisations move out of the recession and into a more stable economic situation. Avanta has kept on engaging staff and by making sure they are involved in the business. The company will be in a good position for the future and should be congratulated for its efforts”.

“We are really excited to have received two star accreditation for outstanding performance at our very first try,” comments Jill Jackson, Avanta’s director of HR & training. “Ours is a service-orientated business and having engaged and motivated team players is fundamental to the well-being of our clients and the continued success of our business.”

The Best Companies 2010 star status accreditation ceremony will be held at The Art of Engagement, the groundbreaking event being opened by Best Companies later in the spring. The Art of Engagement will use the latest technology and 10 years of best practice examples to help managers and HR staff experience what good engagement feels like for themselves, and enable them to create bespoke plans to help drive up staff engagement in their organisations.
