Suspected Burglar Caught, Property Recovered Due to Sonitrol Pacific Detection

Seattle, WA, February 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Police arrested one suspected burglar and the property of a Seattle car repair shop was recovered due to an audio security detection by Sonitrol Pacific January 31.

Operator Sarah Bailey received an impact-activated audio sensor alert from Phil Smart Mercedes Service Center at 9:03 p.m. She listened to what was happening on site, but didn’t hear threatening noises and called a guard service to investigate. While on the phone with the guard service, Bailey heard banging noises and other suspicious sounds. She immediately dispatched Seattle Police.

Police and security guards arrived at the business quickly and found one suspect carrying the shop’s property. The individual was arrested and the taken items were returned.

According to police, the suspect “had a rap sheet a mile long” and was released from jail January 30.
