Carillion Asset Management Announces Charity Donation Program

Carillion Asset Management has announced a staff-driven charitable donation program that will provide much needed funding to a variety of international charities

Tokyo, Japan, March 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Each year Carillion Asset Management makes a conscious effort to support international charities and organizations that are most important to the places they support.

Over the years, Carillion Asset Management has donated to over forty different charities, all of them listed in UNs files as the most needed. “Social responsibility is key to our corporate culture at Carillion” says Stephen Claremont, CEO and founder. “We are thrilled to again be able to support those less fortunate than us and we take great comfort in knowing that many will benefit from the generosity of Carillion Asset Management’s team”.

In 2010, Carillion AM will donate over US$ 850,000 to organizations and causes such as Heart and Hand For The Handicapped, Community Aid For Special Children, Alzheimer Society, Cancer Action and the Blind Care Foundation.

Theodore Madden, Chairman of Blind Care Foundation, said: “Support from companies like Carillion AM is important to us, as we rely almost entirely on fundraising to care for our children and families. There is an overwhelming need for new centres everywhere and we are delighted that the staff at Carillion AM have taken our charity to their hearts and will be working with us in a fantastic year of fundraising. Thank you to everyone at Carillion AM for choosing Blind Care Foundation and helping us to improve the lives of the visually impaired.”
