Scott Walker, Wisconsin Gubernatorial Candidate to Visit Xten Industries

Scott Walker visits at Xten Industries for a stop on his Brown Bag Guide to Government campaign.

Kenosha, WI, March 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Xten Industries, an award-winning plastic injection molder and contract manufacturer, will be hosting Scott Walker, gubernatorial candidate and Milwaukee County Executive, and his “Brown Bag Guide to Government” campaign, Monday, March 15.

Walker’s state-wide Brown Bag campaign began last month in Green Bay. The tour, spaced over the next several months, has Walker touring local businesses and meeting with workers. In addition to taking questions and listening to employees, Walker will outline his Brown Bag Guide to Government that follows three basic principles:

· Don’t spend more than you have.
· Smaller government is better government.
· People create jobs, not government.

Xten’s sustainability initiatives and the publicity they generated attracted the interest of Joseph Fadness, Walker’s Director of Operations, who then toured Xten’s Kenosha facilities and selected Xten for the next stop on the campaign.

“Xten embodies the characteristics Walker is talking about: using fewer resources improves the health of the company and its community. We look forward to Mr. Walker’s visit to Xten. We are proud of our growth,” states Xten’s President, Matthew Davidson, “and welcome his support as we bring global business opportunities to Kenosha that will result in additional jobs.”
