In this session Scott Murchison, CRM of Kaizen InfoSource will discuss the elements RIM Professionals should have in a Business Continuity Plan (BCP). In order for a company to protect its’ information assets, it must have a plan that addresses the most likely, if not all, potential threats and have a strategy to address those threats once they occur. The session will identify key partnerships and knowledge every company should have with regard to the testing and execution of a BCP.

ARMA International (the premier association of records management professionals) has developed GARP® (Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles) as a means to objectively measure the maturity of an organization’s records management program. Participants will learn the eight governing principles which can be used to evaluate the maturity of an organization's RIM program and understand how GARP provides a roadmap to improve a records management program. The webinar will be presented by Terrence J. Coan, CRM, Director, at Hildebrandt Baker Robbins.
