Miretti USA introduced a new line of counterbalanced electric and diesel flameproof and explosion proof forklift trucks. These new forklifts comply with Class 1, Division 1 (C1D1) requirements for explosion and flameproof conversion technology, enabling operation in hazardous environments or where there is an explosion risk.
Fairfield, NJ, March 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Miretti USA today announced a new line of counterbalanced electric and diesel flameproof and explosion proof forklift trucks for the U.S. market. These new, intrinsically safe forklifts comply with Class 1, Division 1 (C1D1) requirements for explosion and flameproof conversion technology, enabling operation in hazardous environments or where there is an explosion risk.
In order to be C1D1 compliant, the forklift engine, battery, and wiring that connects these components to the ignition system must be sealed. The tires and operator seat must also be made completely static-proof. In addition, diesel-run trucks require a cooling system to reduce the temperature of exhaust gases, which are extremely hot.
