Fresno, CA, May 06, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- The Royal King Products Company of central California is proud to announce they have chosen a winner for their recent contest to find the Country’s oddest charity. After numerous submissions, Mr. Aryn Falk, of Houston, TX, was chosen as the contest’s winner and will be receiving a year-long discount on all promotional materials bought through the central California’s company’s website, www.royalkingproducts.com. Falk’s charity, Lace for the Cure, is a local homeless advocate charity which works to offer shoe laces to the homeless in the greater Houston area. It is 100% by donation and done to give the homeless in the area the ability to have shoelaces on their shoes. In offering laces to all the shoes on the homeless Falk feels he is helping them to retain a sense of normalcy while promoting orthopedic health. When asked why he began the charity Falk mentioned: “I felt bad that as awful as it is to be homeless, these people are also constantly losing their shoes because they don’t have laces. I thought ‘well if I gave them laces they could wear their shoes longer’. That thought is what began the charity.”
