RedVector’s exclusive “LEED AP Prescriptive Credentialing Maintenance Online Education Program” has been named a Finalist in the 2009 American Business Awards, otherwise known as the Stevie Awards. Competing under the category of New Product or Service of the Year – All Other Industries, the online LEED training program is also eligible for the People’s Choice Stevie Award for Favorite New Products. This is the second consecutive year a RedVector product has been named a finalist for this prestigious award.

The American Business Awards (ABA) is the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit entries to the ABAs – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. More than 2,700 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories. RedVector will be competing with seven other companies in the New Product or Service of the Year category.

Stevie Award winners will be announced in June.

The Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) is offering “Legacy” LEED APs a one-time window of opportunity to upgrade to a specialty designation that meets the requirements of LEED V.3 without requiring them to re-take the LEED AP Exam. Instead, Legacy LEED APs who want to upgrade can do so by completing a prescribed number of continuing education hours in specific categories. RedVector’s nominated LEED Prescriptive CMP Program enables LEED APs without a specialty to upgrade by completing pre-selected courses in one of three RedVector LEED AP Prescriptive Credentialing Maintenance Programs.

“It’s an honor to have one of our important LEED training products be named a finalist for the American Business Awards,” said Victoria Zambito, Vice President of Marketing at RedVector. “Our students are leaders in the green building movement – and we believe providing them quality education is critical in supporting the natural and social environment in which we all live. We appreciate the ABA’s recognition and its support of building a sustainable environment.”
