)-- Richard Foulkes, director of global communications agency Imagination, has been elected President of the International Special Events Society (ISES).
In addition to his role at Imagination, Mr Foulkes will be leading the ISES board and spearheading their campaign to encourage young people to join the ISES and become future committee members.
An industry figurehead, Mr Foulkes has worked at Imagination for over 25 years and been on its board of directors for 12 years.
During his time at Imagination, he has been a driving force of the events industry and has contributed to experiential campaigns across the world for many of the world’s most famous brands.
Commenting on his appointment, he said, “As communications professionals, it’s in our nature to want to influence and inform.
“The ISES has an opportunity to expand its Talks Programme, connect with the next generation and make our profession as relevant and forward-thinking as it ever has been.

Richard will take on his role of President at the ISES Annual General Meeting on 15th July for the board of 2010/11.
