Minneapolis, MN, July 03, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Lurie Besikof Lapidus & Company, LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Cheri A. Jacoby, CISA, as a partner in LBL Technology Partners. Jacoby’s most recent experience was serving as partner with an international accounting firm in the assurance practice. Her experiences range across a broad spectrum of global risk management functions including technology risks and business process controls. Jacoby is also knowledgeable about integrated governance, risk and compliance across a wide range of industries including financial services, health care and retail/consumer.

Jacoby’s Board experience includes Board Chair of the Stewardship Committee at Wayzata Community Church and Board Chair of the 43 Hoops Foundation, an organization providing a safe, structured environment for youth to further their basketball skills. She has also served as Board Chair for Home of the Good Shepherd (transitional housing for women), and is on the Advisory Board of the University of Minnesota, Carlson School; and Women in Business Organization.

Jacoby received her BSBA in Accounting and Information Systems from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh. She is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), member of the Advisory Council of Computer Security Institute, and a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.
