Double E Promotions Takes Award Home from the 2010 King Country Agape Fest

Nashville, TN, July 03, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Double E Promotions was honored to take home the King Country Agape Fest special award for "Recognition of Talent & Service to Radio & Media through a Giving Heart." Perry Edge and Double E Promotions also earned their first King Country Promoter of the Year nomination.

Founded by Glorya and her late husband, award winning DJ Bob Wilson, this year ‘s 10th Annual King Country Agape Fest was held in Granbury, TX, at the Celebration Hall, June 23rd through the 26th and featured star studded showcases, meet and greets, fellowships and fan appreciation awards show. Double E Artists, Sandra Dee, Rene Jones, David House and Cindy Hughlette were also present for the four day festivities with Perry officiating as MC for various showcases and filling the honorary role as an award presenter with wife Vikki at the awards show.

Double E Promotions, headquartered in Booneville, MS and ran by Perry and wife, Vikki Edge, have focused more on the Country Gospel genre over the last couple years, witnessing the fruits of their labor as many of their clients songs have charted on national Christian m­usic charts, most rece­­­ntly promoting Country Gospel Great, Sandra Dee’s single, “Keep The Faith” to number one on the Christian Voice, Christian Country Top 100 Chart for June of 2010 and former Statler Brother, Jimmy Fortune’s “Wrote it In Red” to number one on the Christian Voice, Christi­an Country Top 100 Chart for December of 09.’
