2010 Asset Management Remuneration ROI Survey Now Published

London, United Kingdom, July 22, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The 10th annual PRPi Consulting asset management Remuneration ROI Survey was published on 15th July 2010.

The survey tracks key remuneration ratios and compares compensation practices in asset management that allows Remuneration Committees and senior managers to gauge whether they are getting good value for their remuneration spend.

A summary of key results are to be featured in FTfm on 19th July.

Richard Parkhouse, Managing Director of PRPi Consulting said:

“There are worrying signs for the asset management industry in this year's report. It looks like the sector has returned to "business as usual" on employee remuneration at a time when revenues and profits are under increasing pressure. To make matters worse some asset managers are bowing to pressure to "de-leverage" bonus payments for key people - this means increasing salaries at a time when fixed costs need to be controlled even more. The industry is also facing the prospect of further EU regulation on remuneration so there are some challenging issues to be addressed. ”
