Strong brings more than 20 years of writing and editing experience to Fuentek. She is the founder and director of Strong Editing, a Chapel Hill, N.C.,-based company offering developmental editing for nonfiction authors, memoirists and scholars. Strong served as an editor for the trade reference department at Oxford University Press as well as the Children’s Vaccine Initiative and International Forum on AIDS Research at the National Academy of Sciences. She has taught in the English Department at the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill. Strong is a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association.
