Rexel Relocates US Corporate Offices to Consolidate Operations and Support Future Growth

New location is more economical and energy-efficient

Dallas, TX, August 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Rexel Inc., a leading distributor of electrical components and supplies, has relocated its U.S. corporate offices to 14951 Dallas Parkway, Dallas TX, 75254 from its former locations at 6600 and 6606 LBJ Freeway in Dallas.

Rexel Inc. will occupy the top five floors of a modern 11-story office building located near the intersection of the North Dallas Tollway and Belt Line Rd.

“By consolidating our operations into a single location, we become more efficient and streamlined to better serve our customers and the entire Rexel U.S. network,” said Jim Clark, VP Strategic Marketing & Business Development. “The new building is economical and eco-friendly, with a cutting edge infrastructure which will allow us to expand our customer service capabilities and accommodate future growth.”

The highly visible structure sits adjacent to the two major thoroughfares in the Addison, TX community. Natural light floods the offices and filters into the low-rise cubicles grouped in the center of each floor. An eco and business friendly approach to the overall design allows the new space to be more efficient, productive and energy conscious.

In addition to the energy savings provided by the building itself, the location is surrounded by a variety of services all within walking distance, eliminating the need to drive to many locations. “In the end we were able to lower our overall costs while improving our employee’s experience and business capabilities,” added Mark Hartman, VP Operations & Logistics. “We know this attitude will carry over into our daily customer interactions.”

Rexel Inc. is a subsidiary of the Rexel Group, the leading distributor worldwide of electrical products and solutions.
