Arizona Self-Storage Association Appoints New Executive Director

Phoenix, AZ, September 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- AZSA’s Board of Directors has appointed Anne Mari DeCoster as the new Executive Director. Anne Mari, a graduate of Georgetown University, brings with her a wealth of knowledge in the areas of marketing, strategic planning and business operations. For the past eight years, she served as Director of Administration for an Award Winning Self-Storage Development Company. Previously, she worked for Booz Allen & Hamilton, providing program management, business development and quality assurance.

Over the past few years and behind the scenes, Anne has participated in many AZSA projects, including trade show committee work, revenue enhancing activities and strategic plan development. The Board foresees that Anne will be a significant new addition to help further grow membership, promote self-storage professionalism in Arizona and seek ways to better serve Association members.

AZSA’s current executive director, Denise Nunez, is stepping down from her position after serving on the Board for eight years and as Executive Director for almost two years. Denise has contributed greatly to the growth of the Association and to its position as one of the top state associations in the county. The Board is grateful for her guidance, expertise and dedication over these many years and is thrilled to have her ongoing support as she takes over the position of Regional Liaison Chair. Denise will work closely with Anne over the next few weeks to assure a smooth transition.
