Bike the Coast - Taste the Coast Offers Intriguing Expo and Sponsorship Opportunities

In addition to four courses and a food festival for cyclists Bike the Coast – Taste the Coast will present an array of promotional opportunities for businesses featuring a comprehensive expo that will be located just north of the bandshell at the Oceanside Pier.

Oceanside, CA, September 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The inaugural Bike the Coast – Taste the Coast event on Saturday, Nov. 6 at the Oceanside Pier will offer cyclists of all abilities the choice of tackling four unique courses along the San Luis Rey Bike Trail and the beaches of Oceanside, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Solana Beach and Del Mar.

In addition, the event will present an array of promotional opportunities for businesses. Bike the Coast – Taste the Coast will feature a comprehensive expo that will be located just north of the bandshell at the Pier. The expo will comprise approximately 20 exhibitor booths, along with a live music area, beer garden, finish line photographs, bike valet and “Taste the Coast” food booths. Festival begins at 9:30 a.m. and runs until 2:30 p.m.

Booth space at the expo is available for $350, with sponsorship packages ranging from $450 for associate sponsor to $2,900 for presenting sponsor. A la carte sponsorship items vary from $50 to $450. Main Street Oceanside (MSO), producers of the weekly Farmers and Sunset Markets, will bring in a host of popular local food providers from their weekly markets. Booths will offer an array of gastronomic choices, ranging from handmade ice cream, tacos and hamburgers to Mediterranean, Philippine and Cuban cuisine. Live music and a beer garden sponsored by Oceanside Ale Works and benefiting the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition and the Oceanside Parks and Recreation Foundation (OPARC) will help keep the festival lively.

Bike the Coast -- Taste the Coast, produced by Event Media, Inc., has partnerships with the Oceanside Bicycle Committee, Main Street Oceanside and the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce. These groups, along with the Oceanside Visitors Bureau, are bringing together the cycling and business communities in Oceanside to promote bicycling and offer a fun day at the Oceanside Pier.
