Innovative Packaging Helps Family Confectioner Win Global TV Audience
Malvern, United Kingdom, October 08, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Pendragon Packaging helped family business Devnaa, with new packaging in January for their luxury Indian inspired confectionery. Just nine months later their reward is a nomination in the ‘Best Packaging’ category at the World Food Awards held on October 23rd.
In January 2010 Devnaa asked Malvern firm Pendragon Packaging to produce a bold new packaging design. Nine months later their nomination in the World Food Awards is proof that creativity and innovation can help small businesses compete at the highest level.
The World Food Awards take place this year at the Park Lane Hilton in London on the 23rd October. The event features a glittering line-up - including performances from leading artists and a host of celebrities, sports personalities and acclaimed chefs. It will be broadcast to an audience of millions worldwide by Sony Entertainment Television.
Pendragon have brought to life a co-ordinated range of ‘tiffin box’ styled packaging which Devnaa had designed for their range of Indian inspired chocolates and confectionery. Styled in bold, modern colours with a built in handle, the unique designs have been showered with praise from Devnaa’s customers.
The criteria for being nominated in the Best Packaging category is based around branding and design, so clearly the packaging has impressed professionals in the food industry as well.
