Glasgow, United Kingdom, January 18, 2007 --(PR.com
)-- Berkeley Myles Solutions today announced that Clean Air Ltd. has selected its ProgressPlus Business Control Software to help the company improve business efficiencies, deal more effectively with sub-contractors and improve stock control.
Clean Air is a customer-focused, service-orientated company that is firmly established and recognised as a significant force in the fume cupboard and fume extraction market. Part of Havelock Europa PLC, the company designs, manufactures and installs fume management systems throughout the UK and overseas. Their customers include pharmaceutical companies, chemical companies, universities, schools and the Ministry of Defence.
“When we evaluated our existing business control systems it was very obvious we had a significant opportunity to improve the efficiency of the business,” said John Boulton, managing director at Clean Air. “After extensive evaluation of a number of business control systems by my team and our Group IT and Finance teams, we selected ProgressPlus.
“ProgressPlus seemed much more intuitive and easy to use than other systems we looked at. In addition, Berkeley Myles Solutions demonstrated from our first meeting that they really understood the challenges of running a manufacturing business. Quite simply there was a degree of empathy and understanding that no other supplier was able to demonstrate.
“As we proceeded with our evaluation, it also became obvious that ProgressPlus would be flexible enough to deal with our complex and tight deadline contracts and give us the level of control we needed to manage our stock effectively. It was also complementary to our recently obtained ISO 9001.”
“We are pleased to add Clean Air to our growing list of ProgressPlus customers,” said Tony MacBride, managing director of Berkeley Myles Solutions. “Clean Air is one of the leading companies in their sector and ProgressPlus demonstrates that the company is continuing to invest to maintain their strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.”
ProgressPlus is currently being installed and user training is being delivered. Clean Air expects that the system will go live in early February.
With over 800 users across the UK, ProgressPlus is one of the leading Business Control systems for manufacturing companies. The software is a proven solution that provides a fully integrated approach to planning, management and administration for all aspects of production processes.
ProgressPlus is ideal for manufacturers who work to customer order and is suitable for both repeat and one-off jobs.
