Pacheco went in depth explaining the importance of a grounded enterprise architecture. Using examples from his 15 year career at Disney, Pacheco showed how having the correct enterprise architecture is crucial to every company. “Enterprise architecture is about bridging and building relationships. As enterprise architects and data modelers, we make sure things have a reason to exist.” Pacheco said, ending the presentation reinforcing that, “data is valuable.
