A New "Home" for Stone Restoration

A new website and forum for the stone restoration service industry.

Columbus, OH, November 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- “Welcome Home” was the greeting that was received from Tim Scarlata, owner and member of a new stone restoration website and forum dedicated to the service industry of stone professionals. The Stone Repair Network - www.stonerepairnetwork.com has launched to what seems to be a niche for those who restore, repair and maintain natural stone.

“There’s a need for a website and forum dedicated to the issues of repairing and restoring stone,” Steve Patrick member of SNR explains. “There are a lot of forums that have an area or sub forum but not one that is just for the art of repairing stone. We wanted to create a resource for those of us who are out there working on site. Most of us don’t have time to search for answers or another procedure to repair the stone.”

The SNR forum has just that. With a quick "test drive" of the forum the content looks like a veritable stone professional’s dream. From “Case Studies”, a sub forum that allows consumers to view a possible DIY for their stone surface to “Stone Identification” where the member can post a photo of a stone and receive information on the type and composition. More importantly are the Natural Stone Repair and Resurfacing Forum, an area for tradesmen to share different methods and techniques used for the restoration of natural stone. The Fabrication and Installation Box is set up for consulting the SRN experts on issues that might come up and how to correct the problem.

“The Stone Repair Network is dedicated in providing quality restoration, repair and maintenance through a network of stone repair professionals. Our network is committed to the education of both the consumer and the industry in the advancement of stone restoration.” Mr. Scarlata states “We stand by that principle. We want our members to succeed in their service. Why not give them the best in education, information and a place to discuss their livelihood. We are a community if not a family.”
