Cairo, Egypt, November 17, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- Egypt Yellow Pages Ltd, the Local Search Company, under its cooperative agreement with the Egypt’s Ministry of Administrative Development, recently added feature for “driving directions” to enhance the electronic mapping services on the Egyptian e-government portal, Bawaba (www.egypt.gov.eg).
Accessing the new service on Bawaba is easy. After clicking on government map services, choosing the appropriate ministry and government service provider, and filtering by city and area, users will be presented with a map displaying the office locations of the government services they desire. The user then specifies a starting location and verifies the service provider they seek, and the best route appears on the map. On the left side of the screen-view, the trip length and expected time are shown, along with a more details link, which, when clicked, presents the user with detailed driving directions.
The new service covers all of Egypt – big cities and small – and is offered in Arabic and English.
“Beyond the obvious benefits of saving time and effort for the user, Egypt Yellow Pages Ltd is extremely excited that our cooperative agreement with the Ministry of Administrative Development is continuously bringing new, useful services to the Egyptian people,” says Marc Lambert, Regional Managing Director for Egypt Yellow Pages Ltd.
