Land Development & Planning Company, Chas. H. Sells, Hires Beth Lewis as Senior Planner in the Land Development Department

Cary, NC, September 01, 2005 --(PR.com)-- Beth Lewis, AICP has joined Chas. H. Sells, Inc. (SELLS) in their Cary office as Senior Planner of their Land Development Division - Land Planning Group. Beth will lead the zoning and entitlement process for this Division. The Cary office provides turnkey development services including Land Planning, Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering and Surveying/GPS to public and private sector clients throughout the Triangle.

A resident of Cary, Beth joins SELLS with a decade of local government planning experience both in North Carolina and Florida. As a former Senior Planner with the Town of Cary, she brings experience in both the Rezoning/Master Planned Development process and the Site/Subdivision Plan Phases of land development. During Beth’s employment with the Town of Cary, she facilitated rezoning and land use plan amendment requests along with reviewing site/subdivision plan submittals for the Town. Beth’s planning and rezoning expertise in conjunction with her established relations within the public sector will be a major asset to SELLS Land Development Division.

Beth’s recent key projects include:
•Review and approval of the Activity Center Concept Plan for Tryon Village, a 82-acre mixed use development that includes retail, office, and residential uses.

•Site plan review and approval for The Umstead, a 5 star luxury hotel located on the SAS campus.

•Rezoning and subdivision plan approval of the Weycroft Planned Development District, a 125-lot single family residential subdivision.
