Las Vegas, NV, September 13, 2005 --(PR.com
)-- Take 1 Night Club, the first club to open in the new entertainment district in downtown Las Vegas, was approved by Mayor Oscar Goodman and his fellow council members to receive $60,000 matching funds as part of the city's VIP (Visual Improvement Program).
Gary Sax and John Ardito, the listed owners of the club, said Take 1 is one of the many entertainment venues which are coming into the new entertainment district modeled after the "Gas Lamp" district in San Diego.
Currently the club, which features Cajun cuisine, has live entertainment featuring both local and nationally recognized acts. Take 1, with it's Hollywood theme, is also the only night club to feature free showings of recently released and classic movies on their huge 140 square foot screen on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Take 1 offers a happy hour Monday through Friday from 4pm to 7pm with Live Jazz and free drinks for unescorted ladies.
