Smart Destinations Strengthens Senior Management Team with Addition of Steve Boulanger and Paul Fraser. Recognized Executives Bring Business Development, Financial and Strategic Expertise to Smart Destinations.

Boston, MA, September 20, 2005 --(PR.com)-- Smart Destinations Inc., the premier provider of technology-based destination travel solutions, today announced the addition of two seasoned business veterans to its senior management team. Joining Smart Destinations are Steve Boulanger as chief financial officer and Paul Fraser as senior vice president of business development. Together, these two gentleman bring more than 40 years of business development, financial and strategic executive leadership roles to Smart Destinations, which continues to expand its market presence in the U.S. at a rapid pace.

In his role as CFO, Boulanger is responsible for the financial, legal and administration functions at Smart Destinations. As senior vice president of business development, Fraser is responsible for sales of Smart Destinations’ products to non-travel channels such as corporate HR departments, institutions and associations, and to the outsource providers of employee services. He also advises on consumer marketing strategy, and leads special projects for the company.

About Steve Boulanger
Prior to joining Smart Destinations, Boulanger was Chief Financial Officer at Engim, a developer of wireless LAN infrastructure silicon solutions. Boulanger also served as CFO of Openpages, Inc., an enterprise software company, Cimaron Communications Corp., a communications semiconductor company that was acquired by Applied Micro Circuits Corp (AMCC) in 1999 and FASTech Integration, Inc., a manufacturing automation software company that was acquired by Brooks Automation in 1997.

Boulanger is a veteran in the financial management and funding of venture capital backed high growth start-up enterprises.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Dartmouth College and a Master’s of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

About Paul Fraser
Fraser’s twenty-plus year career includes marketing and business development achievements in media/entertainment, the attractions industry and professional marketing services. He is a proven leader of new business initiatives within both established organizations and start-ups, including twice developing new travel & leisure-oriented brands, in domestic and overseas markets.

Fraser has earned a reputation as expert and innovator in the global large-format (IMAX®) film & theatre industry where he oversaw development and operation of theatres, and development and worldwide distribution of films, with some production involvement too. Prior to joining Smart Destinations, he was President of Candide Media Works, a New York City-based Web & wireless content studio. Candide’s signature product, Talking Street™ cell phone walking tours, is currently a Smart Destination attractions partner.

Fraser also served as vice president of corporate development at Angus Reid Group, Inc., an international marketing research firm in Canada, now the Ipsos Reid division of global research company, Ipsos. He began his career in brand management at Procter & Gamble. Fraser holds an Honours Bachelors of Commerce Degree from Queen’s University at Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
