The Brooks Group Wins 2011 Stevie® Award for Sales Training Practice of the Year

World’s leading business awards recognizes The Brooks Group in what proved to be the most competitive year for the Stevie® Awards with more than a 60% nomination increase.

Greensboro, NC, March 10, 2011 --( The Brooks Group was officially presented with the 2011 Stevie® Award for the Sales Training Practice of the Year category in the fifth annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.

The awards are presented by the Stevie® Awards, which organizes several of the world’s leading business recognition events including the prestigious American Business Awards.

The awards are governed by a Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors that features many of the leading figures in business. More than 800 entries from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted to this year’s competition; an increase of more than 60% over 2010.

“It was harder than ever to be recognized as a finalist – only 35% of entries submitted earned Finalist status.” explains Michael Gallagher, President of the Stevie® Awards.

Having earned the Finalist Status in several categories over that last five years, this is the second Stevie® Award won by The Brooks Group. In 2006, The Brooks Group was presented with the Stevie® Award for the category of Consulting Sales Organization of the Year.
