Gwendolyn Ross to Help Businesses Achieve More as an ActionCOACH

Ross is the newest ActionCOACH in the Baltimore/ Metro D.C. Area.

Baltimore, MD, March 30, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Who knows the challenges small businesses face every day better than someone who has owned their own businesses themselves? That is why so many people who have owned businesses in the past end up becoming ActionCOACH business coaches.

Gwendolyn Ross has been self-employed since 1997 and over that time she has developed a knowledge of what works for small businesses and what doesn’t, so when she saw the opportunity to become an ActionCOACH, she knew it was one she had to take advantage of.

ActionCOACH is the world’s leader in business and executive coaching. When Brad Sugars, Chairman and Founder, started the company in 1993, the field of business coaching was still in its infancy. By franchising the company in 1997, Sugars helped business coaching become more mainstream turning it into the second fastest growing category behind Information Technology. ActionCOACH specializes in coaching small to medium size business as well as executive teams and group coaching.

Ross has worked as an independent contractor as a software trainer and consultant. In this business, she experienced many of the same challenges other small business owners do, including the most important one, building and maintaining a balanced, profitable business.

“I have the skills to educate other business owners how to build a profitable business,” Ross said. “It’s important that business owners understand what they need to do to get on the right path. There are so many challenges and many don’t even know what they don’t know. I’m here to teach them.”

Ross’ journey as an ActionCOACH firm owner began in Las Vegas, Nevada where the ActionCOACH Global Office is located. Here she spent 10 days training with other new firm owners and business coaches from around the world. They learned the ins and outs of ActionCOACH, how to run a business the ActionCOACH way, branding, systems and techniques, as well as how to apply their knowledge to any business and much more.

When she’s not working, Ross is a member of a number of organizations, including the National Association of Self- Employed, American Society for Training and Development. She is also active in her community, working with a number of organizations that help make Baltimore a better place.

Gwendolyn Ross has a wealth of talent to share as the newest member of the ActionCOACH team. She will be a powerful resource for any business that works with ActionCOACH.

ActionCOACH is the world’s number one business coaching and executive coaching firm, with more than 1,000 offices in 32 countries. To learn more, go to actioncoach.com/gwenross.
