Schoppe, president of Fuentek, LLC (http://www.fuentek.com/), a local technology consulting firm that provides intellectual property and technology transfer services, has announced that the firm has received a Distinguished Award from the Carolina Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC) for its 2009 Accomplishment Report for NASA’s Ames Research Center’s Innovative Partnerships Program Office. The Distinguished Award honors superior work that applies the principles of technical communication in an outstanding way, particularly for anticipating and fulfilling the needs of its audience. This recognition is the 15th award that Fuentek has received from STC’s Carolina Chapter.
“It’s an honor to receive this recognition from STC Carolina for the dedicated work our team provides to NASA Ames,” said Schoppe. “The Accomplishment Report was designed to help readers understand the value of the center’s IPP Office and how the office supports NASA missions. The thorough feedback we received from the judges indicates that this goal was achieved, and for that I am very pleased.”
