Window Smashing Suspect Suspended by Sonitrol Pacific Operator Jessica Culver

Bellingham, WA, April 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- At approximately 2:57am on March 31st, operator Jessica Culver received what she described as clear audio of a window being smashed at Accents Salon in Bellingham. Jessica immediately responded by dispatching Bellingham Police. Although she heard no further threatening noises Jessica stayed updated on the situation by listening to the police scanner. Jessica learned the suspect had presumably taken a baseball bat and had been smashing cars and windows in the vicinity, and officers were in hot pursuit.

Upon further follow up, their contact said it appeared the suspect had reached in through the broken window and taken a special kind of rock worth about $28. The property was recovered, and is being used as evidence.

Officers were able to escort the suspect to jail where he will be charged with multiple crimes, thanks to Sonitrol Pacific's audio verification and the excellent work of operator Jessica Culver.
