JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa Welcomes New General Manager

Phuket, Thailand, April 07, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Tony Pedroni as the new General Manager.

Mr. Pedroni joins the award-winning resort from his previous position as General Manager of the Renaissance Seoul Hotel, where his dedication to achieving hotel excellence led him to be awarded General Manager of the Year for Asia Pacific in 2010. Previous assignments included Marriott’s Waiohai Beach Club and the Kauai Marriott Resort and Beach Club in Hawaii.

An Irish national, Tony brings with him over 20 years of international hotel management experience from key positions held across Europe, the Middle East, United States and Pacific Islands.

The award winning JW Marriott Phuket Resort and Spa comprises of 265 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a variety of recreation options, retail offerings and extensive corporate programs.
