New Paragon Kiln Colors

Paragon Industries has just announced that some of their smaller table-top kilns are available in turquoise or hot pink in addition to the standard kiln color, which is blue.

Mesquite, TX, April 17, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Paragon Industries is now offering some of their smaller kilns in option turquoise or hot pink high-temperature paint. The standard color is blue.

“The SC-series, E-series, Q-series, and BlueBird kilns can be ordered in turquoise or hot pink. There is an extra charge for this option,” said John S. Hohenshelt, company president.

For a number of years Paragon’s standard kiln color was gray. A distributor suggested changing to a brighter color, so in 2000, Paragon switched to blue.

“We used to make orange kilns for one of our private labelers,” said Arnold Howard, spokesman for Paragon. “I used to think orange was the brightest color we had ever used. Now I think it may be hot pink, which is a splash of color that stands out in the factory.”
