)-- The CIO Utilities Summit team announced today that Stuart Ravens, Principal Analyst, Energy & Utilities Technology, Ovum will act as Master of Ceremonies for the upcoming technology event, June 12-14, 2011 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The CIO Utilities Summit brings together CIOs, IT executives, analysts and solution providers to network, attend educational sessions and have in-depth conversations around the latest IT topics and trends. Topics to be discussed at the event include smart grid, mobility, cloud computing and effective customer communication strategies.
Stuart Ravens has worked in Ovum’s commercial verticals team since May 2008, where he is responsible for the Energy & Utilities workstream. Ravens works closely with analysts within Datamonitor’s Energy business unit as well as horizontal analysts within the wider Ovum group, providing clients with technology analysis through a business lens. Ravens has 14 years of experience as an analyst, mostly within financial and professional services institutions.
Ravens will lead the CIO Utilities Summit Content Committee, determining agenda topics for the event; provide leadership and facilitate conversations onsite; and play an active role in the event’s agenda, leading a CIO Think Tank and moderating a panel discussion.
