Petey, Laguna Motor Werks Resident Mascot Celebrates #10 with Birthday Bash

Petey, the "Shop Foreman," according to Vick Hausner, Laguna Motor Werks owner, certainly commands a huge following among residents and tourists alike. From his highly visible vantage point atop a Mercedes golf cart in front of his office, Petey meets and greets his adoring public all day like a Zen little Buddha, posing for pictures, videos, lots of petting and ear scratching with few complaints. This genial, mild-mannered bulldog, a great ambassador and much adored fixture in Laguna, is particularly popular with tourists, some from as far away as Japan, Russia, Germany, Sweden, and of course, England, many of whom return annually and seek out Petey to say just say, Hi.
