Architect Ted Halsey, AIA, LEED AP has joined DLR Group in Denver, Colorado.

Denver, CO, June 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Architect Ted Halsey, AIA, LEED AP has joined DLR Group. Halsey’s national and international design experience and environmental stewardship has provided award-winning design for justice, civic, and corporate facilities. His innovative courts design on the Alfred A. Arraj U.S. Courthouse in Denver helped the U.S. General Services Administration pioneer the first “pilot” sustainable design project at the national level.

At DLR Group, Halsey will serve as design leader and project manager on justice and civic projects including the Pueblo County Judicial Building and the La Plata County Courthouse in Durango.

“DLR Group clients will immediately benefit from Ted’s leadership and passion for design excellence in architecture,” said DLR Group Principal Edward Bledowski, AIA, Colorado office leader. “He provides both the ability to create design solutions to improve our built environment and the expertise to help clients achieve their mission and ideas.”

Since 2000, Halsey has served as a board director of the Denver Architectural Foundation and was elected as vice president in 2005. He is an active member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Association for Courts Management.
