San Luis Obispo Food and Beverage Marketing Company Wins Three International Awards

Recipe Marketing receives Communicator Awards for design work.

San Luis Obispo, CA, June 15, 2011 --( Recipe, a food and beverage marketing company on the Central Coast, won three Communicator Awards for their design work on a brochure for Bonipak, one of Santa Maria’s leading vegetable growers. The Communicator Awards is an international competition that honors creative excellence in the communications fields and received over 6,000 entries this year.

“Our Bonipak team should be especially proud of the overall design win, as the competition is not limited to budget, size of company or industry. There are a ton of great designers out there working with huge budgets and well-known companies. It proves once again that a great idea, flawlessly designed and executed, is always possible,” said Frank Scotti, owner and creative director of Recipe.

The Communicator Awards is judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), which is composed of leaders in the media, communications, advertising and marketing fields. Members of the IAVA include executives from companies such as HBO, Disney, Brandweek, Yahoo! and MTV.

The three awards received were in the areas of business-to-business, company overview and best overall design in the print category.
