Kaufmann-Rothstein International is All Set for Emerging Markets Fixed Income Sales Team Expansion

Kaufmann-Rothstein International, a top commodity futures and brokerage trading firm has recently announced its readiness to expand its Emerging Markets Fixed Income Sales Team.

Haarlem, Netherlands, July 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The expansion plan commenced with the appointment of two industry veteran, Frederick Friedman and Stefano Morrie, who will serve as team leaders of Emerging Markets Fixed Income Sales Division. The two are both professional traders who will bring an accumulated 16 years of trading experience to Kaufmann-Rothstein International.

“Over the last few months, we have started our expansion program with a team of 45 fixed income professionals on Wall Street concentrated on servicing our continuously increasing institutional client base,” said Jerry Paterson, Managing Director of Kaufmann-Rothstein International’s Global Fixed Income Division. “Both Friedman and Morrie are extremely significant addition to our Emerging Markets expansion.”

Frederick Friedman joined Kaufmann-Rothstein International as Emerging Market Trading and Sales’ Managing Director. Previously, he held three years leadership of the emerging market fixed income of the now defunct Bear Stearns Asset Management. Prior to joining Bear Stearns, he worked for six years at US-based Asset Management Company heading to $1.7 billion emerging markets fixed income build out and also assigned to manage its high profile fixed income portfolios.

Friedman also worked in an international brokerage and asset management company where he was responsible of the firm’s foreign exchange committee. During his particular job assignment, he has successfully managed local market interest rates, fixed income, foreign exchange, structured products and corporate credit worldwide. He completed his business finance degree from United States University. He is a licensed financial analyst.

Stefano Morrie joined the Kaufmann-Rothstein International’s Emerging Market Trading team in 2007. He brings 15 years of solid trading experience to the firm with focused on financial industry, structured products and emerging markets fixed income sales and trading. Among his financial and trading experiences were; Senior Sales Trader at Bank of America and Financial Trading Analyst in some private banking trading desks. He graduated his Finance and International Economics degree from St. Johns University, Manhattan Campus.
