)-- Dean Ogan, owner of Rocky Top Hospitality (http://www.rockytophospitality.com), has announced that the restaurant group has been named one of the top corporate philanthropists in the Triangle area on Triangle Business Journal’s annual list, which ranks companies by dollar amount of Triangle giving in 2010. Providing $104,502 for Triangle giving, and $106,906 for total giving, Rocky Top Hospitality secured the No. 15 spot on the list.
“Everyone at Rocky Top Hospitality is committed to giving back to those who are less fortunate and to the community that supports us,” said Ogan. “Our community is a huge part of who we are, and it is an honor to be included on this list with companies such as Bayer CropScience, Cisco, Wells Fargo, among others.”

- Rocky Top Hospitality recently raised more than $9,500 to support five local nonprofit organizations during a five-day anniversary celebration held to mark Bogart’s American Grill’s 10 years of service and closing. Money raised benefited the Foundation of Hope, the Capital City Clauses, Pay It Forward, InterAct, and Builders of Hope.
