)-- SES Advisors, Inc., a national ESOP advisory, transaction and administration firm, today announced it has opened a new office in Fort Worth, Texas, enhancing the firm’s ability to serve its growing client base in the Southwest.
Steve Allison, President and founder of SR Allison, Ltd., will become a shareholder of SES Advisors, Inc. and manage the SES Fort Worth office. Allison and his team will market all existing SES Advisors, Inc. services, including: ESOP transaction structure and finance; ESOP plan administration and consulting services; repurchase liability analysis and funding consulting; and 401(k) fee disclosure analysis. They will focus their business development activities in the Texas and Southwest United States markets.
“For almost two decades, I have been providing clients with the information necessary to make informed decisions about their business planning needs,” said Allison. “Our growth partnership as SES Advisors of Texas will allow us to further simplify the multiple steps required for business owners implementing an exit plan strategy.”
The new SES Texas office will also include True Freedom, a 401(k) consulting firm. According to Bob Massengill, President of SES Advisors, Inc., “Many of our existing clients have been asking for advice and guidance regarding the new DOL regulations. The True Freedom team will now provide that needed expertise.” These new Department of Labor regulations have expanded the definition of fiduciary responsibility to require disclosure of fees charged in connection with 401(k) plans, creating a need for independent 401(k) consulting.
“Our mission is to provide the highest quality and most comprehensive ESOP consulting and recordkeeping services to assist our clients in achieving their ESOP goals,” said Massengill. “This strategic business expansion into the Texas market not only allows us to better serve all of our ESOP clients’ needs, but also offers clients these additional 401(k) consulting services.”
