Celebrating its 75th year, the school is held for one week each summer at the William and Ida Friday Continuing Education Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The UNC management development program spans four years and strives to extend the skills and knowledge of banking industry managers.
On Sunday, Aug. 7, Ruhmann taught concepts of situational leadership to freshman students, and on Thursday, Aug. 11, she will lead a class for junior students on the importance of self-awareness and leadership. Ruhmann is a graduate of the North Carolina School of Banking’s Mid-Management and Advanced Management programs.
“The development of qualified leaders is a must for any field of work, but especially in the banking industry,” said Ruhmann. “Providing students with the tools they need to be effective managers is a goal that I share with the North Carolina School of Banking.”
