Seth Kahan’s Sept 6 Workshop Supports Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind's “Light the Way 5K” and More

Innovative Leadership and Executive Strategy Consultant, Seth Kahan, will conduct a workshop fundraiser for independent consultants on September 6 in Washington, DC on how to create breakthroughs in business success. 100% of profits will go the Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind's "Light the Way 5K" to help the blind or visually impaired achieve independence. Additional workshop fundraisers are in the works to continue support of CLB’s mission.

Bethesda, MD, August 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Seth Kahan will lead a one-day workshop on “Breakthrough Business Leadership” for independent consultants, entrepreneurs, and small business owners on Tuesday, September 6 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at Top of The Hill Conference Center in Washington, DC. 100% of profits will go to Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind’s Light the Way 5K Fun Run & Walk.

An integral part of the workshop will be a special one-hour presentation delivered by athlete, Charlie Plaskon. Plaskon is 67 years old and legally blind. Since 2003, he has completed 8 half Ironman events, 6 full Ironman events, including the World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. He has 6 Olympic distance triathlons to his credit including the ITU World Championship representing the United States as part of Team USA in Laussane, Switzerland. He has been featured in two Ironman documentaries carried nationally on NBC and the Outdoor Life Network.

Space and catering for the workshop has been generously donated by Josh Carin, proprietor of Gepetto Catering, in support of the Light the Way 5K. Carin, a well-respected presence in the Washington, DC area, runs Gepetto Catering, long admired for their reliability, innovation, and quality.
