Salem Enterprise Solutions Appoints Fernando Faria to President and COO

Tampa, FL, August 17, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Tampa based Salem Enterprise Solutions (SES) proudly announces the appointment of Fernando Faria as President and COO. In his new position, Mr. Faria will oversee daily operations for a diverse group of technology focused organizations, which include VASTEC, Thermal Matrix International, Farm Pilot Project Coordination, Enable America, Able Force, and the Salem Law Group.

Mr. Faria brings more than 30 years of operations and leadership experience to Salem Enterprise Solutions. Most recently, he was President of L-3’s Applied Technologies Group (ATG), in San Diego. Prior to that, Mr. Faria was President of L-3’s Brashear division, headquartered in Pittsburgh. He also was Deputy General Manager of Mission Electronics for BAE Systems Information and Electronic Warfare Systems (IEWS).

Mr. Faria received a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University and has numerous awards to his credit, including the Technical Achievement Award with Honeywell, the Technical Leadership Award with Loral, the Nova Award for Leadership with Lockheed Martin and the 2003 Chairman's Award for Innovation with BAE Systems.
