)-- Salon IAOMO has achieved a 4-star rating for providing outstanding customer service, earning it the prestigious CMUS Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Award in the Beauty and Spas category.
The award, presented by Talk of the Town News, Customer Care News magazine and Celebration Media, honors companies and professionals that provide excellent customer service as reported by their customers through no-cost, user-review websites, blogs, social networks, business rating services, and other honors and accolades. This data is analyzed by a team of researchers and converted into a star rating; only those that receive a 4-star to 5-star rating receive the Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Award.
Roberta Kozel and Maureen Haley, the owners of Salon IAOMO, had been in the salon business for 25 years when they decided to team together and purchase the salon they were currently working in. In March 2008, they purchased that salon and incorporated it with another existing salon they also bought at the same time, creating Salon IAOMO. Since that time the salon has nearly doubled its staff and is continuing to grow.
Salon IAOMO is a full-service hair salon with a tranquil, relaxing setting. In addition to master haircuts, coloring and styling services, the salon offers waxing, threading services, spa and tanning facilities, and specializes in all forms of hair replacement, medical hair loss and cutting-edge hair extension techniques. Additional amenities include private styling rooms.
According to Kozel and Haley, their staff members have a combined 120-plus years of experience and still continue to update their education and skills, keeping on top of the latest trends and fashions. “So many clients always tell us how friendly and accommodating the staff is,” says Kozel. “Furthermore, the terrific staff pays great attention to the details. In the service industry, that is very hard to come by these days.”
“We strive to make sure every client that comes through our doors leaves with a smile on their face and they can’t wait to come back in to visit with us,” says Haley. “We love our clients; they are not just clients, they have become our friends.” To further serve clients, the salon offers client reward programs and discounts on frequently purchased Salon IAOMO products.
Kozel and Haley and the entire Salon IAOMO family also strive to serve the community. “My partner and I have been very fortunate to have learned a lot over the years from some very good people,” says Kozel. “We are now able to give back in the form of supporting local children.” Among the organizations supported by the salon are the Carlington cheerleaders, the Chartiers Valley boys’ basketball team, the Scott Township and Green Tree little league teams, and the Dormont Library.
