)-- The 2011 N.C. CEO Forum (http://www.ncceoforum.com), an invitation-only leadership conference held on Wednesday, Aug. 10 at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, N.C., relayed practical insights, ideas and actions to a sold out crowd of more than 350 executives and management teams. Attendees heard personal accounts, advice and suggestions from some of the top business leaders to inspire an improvement in performance and provide attendees with ways to boost success. The sold-out event included a keynote address by Jim Collins (http://www.jimcollins.com), acclaimed business author of Good to Great, Built to Last, and his latest work, How the Mighty Fall. In addition to a captivating keynote address, speakers and panelists used story to communicate personal experiences and lessons learned regarding the three main tracks of the event: Purpose, Process and People. Each speaker also provided the attendees with a list of takeaways to help retain key points and areas of focus in the workplace.
