EPPY™ Awards Entry Deadline Extended by Editor and Publisher
The entry period for the 16th annual EPPY™ Awards, which honor the best websites presented by media-affiliated companies, has been extended to midnight Friday, Oct. 14, 2011. Entries are accepted online only at the EPPY™ Awards Website, eppyawards.com.
Irvine, CA, October 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- “After receiving a substantial number of calls and emails from media companies requesting we extend the 2011 EPPY™ deadline, we made the decision to add 14 days,” said Martha McIntosh, EPPY™ committee chairwoman. “Many companies were preoccupied with meeting their own end-of-month deadlines.”
The winners will be announced Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011 at editorandpublisher.com (previously scheduled on Nov. 16).
The EPPY™ Awards, presented by Editor & Publisher, honor the best media-affiliated websites across 43 diverse categories, within three divisions:
• 1 million and over unique monthly visitors
• 250,000 to 1 million unique monthly visitors
• Under 250,000 unique monthly visitors
