SITEK Expands Its Product Portfolio with Tool Data Management Solution TDM V4
SITEK: TDM V4 is a system for organizing tools, inspection equipment, machine setup, chucking devices, jigs, fixtures and machines. One particular highlight of TDM V4 is a fully automated generation of 2D/3D graphics, including master data for individual tool components. This keeps the error rate in data entry to a minimum.
Moscow, Russia, October 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- October 2011 - SITEK, a provider of adaptive operations execution software solutions for manufacturing organizations in Russia and CIS, as well as the main Competence center on MES and PLM (Tecnomatix™) systems authorized by Siemens AG, announced recently that it would distribute Tool Data Management software TDM V4 from TDM Systems. TDM V4 saves time, reduces costs, improves product quality.
TDM V4 will allow SITEK to offer services and software which fully meet the demands of a present-day Russian IT reality. The company already offers MES (Manufacturing Execution System), APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling Software) and Tecnomatix™ (PLM).
Indexable inserts in 3D
TDM V4 offers a generator for indexable inserts with true-to-life data and clear visibility of interference contours during simulation even with very tight travel paths. The only condition here is that the customer should already be using on of the TDM generators for milling, turning or drilling tools as the basis.
Crystal Reports for Standard Evaluation
Based on the high-performance reporting tool "Crystal Reports," four different standard reporting formats are now available to make scheduled evaluations easier: Item Overview, Tool Assembly Overview, Crib Overview, Item and Crib Overview. The corresponding form sheets are displayed in their respective menus via the "Graphic Report" function in the main menu bar.
Integrated 2D Graphic Editor
This fully integrated module allows the user to make changes in drawings directly in TDM. The Graphic Editor is easy to use and includes all the major 2D CAD functions that might be needed for processing a 2D tool drawing.
TDM V4 is efficiently integrated into CAD systems, ERP, job planning and various tool crib systems, purchasing and machine control systems, tool catalogues, MS-office products, barcode and chip systems, pre-setting devices, vending machines, production management systems, simulation and NC systems.
