Las Olas River House Social Committee to Host “Las Vegas on Las Olas Gala Night”

Miami, FL, October 12, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Las Olas River House Social Committee is honored to announce “Las Vegas on Las Olas Gala Night” on Saturday, Nov. 5th from 6 p.m. to Midnight at the Las Olas River House (333 Las Olas Way), Ft. Lauderdale, FL, benefiting the Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center (CDTC).

Starting at 6 p.m., guests will enjoy an evening of dinner, dancing, live and silent auctions. Guests will also enjoy sumptuous International Food Stations from more than 20 top restaurants in Broward County, including The Capital Grille, Solita on Las Olas, Café Seville, Casa D’Angelo, Café Vico, China Grill, Cheese Culture, Dapur Grateful Palate, Las Olas Wines Co., Market 17, Mbar, Michele’s, Sea Level, 3030 Ocean, Rare, Tatiana’s, Temptations Caterers, Truluck’s, Blue Martini, Hugh’s Caterers, Shipyard Craft Beer, Sweeter Days Bake Shop and Amazing Chocolate. A 10-piece band, “The Band” from Xanadau Group, will be the highlight of entertainment for the evening.

“The Las Olas River House Social Committee is excited to host the first-ever Las Vegas on Las Olas Gala Night designed and planned by event designer Robert Stanfield of BocaRaton.com,” said Cheryl Insalaco, Gala Chair. “The event will benefit an extremely important community charity, the Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center. This year The Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center is in dire need to raise funds from our community and local neighbors to keep serving the needs of more than 10,000 children with special needs or at risk!”

There are four different levels of corporate sponsorships available: Jack, Queen, King and Ace Sponsorships ranging from $500 to $5000. Ana Calderon, Ph.D. Assistant Administrator of Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center expressed how extremely grateful they are for the time, effort, and energy that the Co-Chairs continue to devote to this premier signature event.

Dr. Calderon commented, “The generous outpouring of support from the Host Committee, made up of 18 families who are residents of the River House, is truly a remarkable example of their compassion for those less fortunate. In these tough economic times, we need the help of our local community more than ever to keep serving Broward County's most medically complex children.”
