National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL) Elects New Chair, Board of Directors

Lynn G. Ozer, Susquehanna Bank, named to lead national trade association for three-year term.

Stillwater, OK, November 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- During its 27th annual convention in Huntington Beach, CA, the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL) announced the election of Lynn G. Ozer of Susquehanna Bank as the first female chair to head its 25-member board of directors. Ms. Ozer was unanimously elected by the association’s Executive Committee, which is made up of several of the SBA lending industry’s most respected participants. In making the announcement, Anthony Wilkinson, president and CEO of NAGGL, presented Ms. Ozer with a replica of the gavel George Washington used in 1793 to lay the Capitol cornerstone, and stated, “Lynn has served NAGGL in many capacities since 1988, including serving on the board for 23 years, as the chair of our highly important Technical Issues Committee, as a very popular instructor on any number of topics, and as an always relied upon conference speaker and advocate for the nation’s job-creating small businesses. I look forward to working closely with Lynn as the association continues to grow and meet its mission.”

Ms. Ozer will serve a three-year term commencing on January 1, 2012, and said that she “is excited and honored to take on this new challenge. I intend to work diligently to continue to promote the association’s legislative and programmatic goals as I follow in the footsteps of our current chairman, Greg Clarkson of BBVA Compass, who has done a terrific job.”
